Where to find reasonably priced miniatures?

Buy a 3d printer I'm not being absurd. Based on your needs, budget, and time frame, you'd be best off getting a 3d printer. You even have options: FDM (PLA) printer - a bambu A1 mini is $220, plus a 0.2mm nozzle for like $20. Filament is $30 a spool and you can get like 300 minis per spool. The qual

Replacing FEP with ACF

ACF has it's downsides, namely causing fine vertical lines on smooth surfaces. There was such a backlash against it, Elegoo stopped using ACF on new printers. No Mars 5 or Saturn 4 model uses ACF. nFEP/PFA however is a straight upgrade from FEP, and is cheaper than ACF. And yes, it uses the same ten

3D Printing Miniatures

Basically, uncured UV resin is toxic for your skin and can lead to itchyness, rashes or an allergic reaction. So you must wear gloves when handling it in liquid form (which is what you pour in the vat) and then rinse the printed models in 99% IPA and given them a final brief UV cure to get rid of an

Why is Australia getting shafted !

Load of crap. This type of item is duty free and there's only a 10% sales tax which is comperable to most places in the world. Shipping from china is also pretty affordable, not saying we are the cheapest but we arn't no outlier especially for something this small and light. A 10-15% price increase

Absurd Pricing

Yeah, an Elegoo Mars 5 will only set you back $200 right now and just a bit more for a nice Anycubic model

Beginner getting into 3D printing – is a used Formlabs Form 2 for $200 worth it?

For filament printers you can also check out the Anycubic Kobra 3 v2 combo. 4 color printing, and active drying. It's about $330 U.S. right now. Print quality, speed and bed size are all comparable to the Bambu A1. For resin, you can buy a brand new Elegoo Mars 5 for under $200! Just don't forget th

Opinions on elegoo abs like 3.0 vs 3.0 + for miniatures

likely doesn't matter. if your printer can print at 5nm or 2nm it's beyond the ability of the human eye to notice. so the only thing that matters is if the sculpt is designed well or not. that being said. if it means anything to you i have a mars 5 ultra, and use elegoo abs 3.0+ and my minis come ou

What 3D printers would you guys recommend?

I still use an old Elegoo Mars Pro but you probably want to look at either their newer models (Mars 5 I believe) or their Saturn if you want to do larger prints. For FDM the Bambulab A1 seems to be pretty popular right now.

how much for the printing cost (resin)

For that price I would buy the minis directly to loot studios, each pack is at 139.9USD right now. But personally I would buy the printer if you can afford it, there are cheap ones for the price of two packs and they are great like Elegoo mars 5 ultra which I use and I'm no resin printer expert. Non

3D Printer

I got an Elegoo Mars 5 about a year ago. It really served me well, less than 200€ for the machine and I probably invested another 150€ into periferees. You can spend anything, open end l, into it but to get you started that's all you'll need. Probably spent another 150-250 € on resin, so in total it
