What matters most to you in a wedding PA system?

From my side, you've got it pretty much nailed down with your first list. For the questions: The biggest thing for me is flexibility. Every venue is different, hell, even different weddings at the same venue can have completely different setups and requirements. So if I can buy a pair of tops and bi

Bose S1Pro+ noise question

I've used the Bose S1 and L1 systems a ton and they definitely have a problem with noise floor. I find the preamps specifically are super noisy. I've found sending a line level signal in with a TRS 1/4in helps compared to an XLR in. If you're considering returning it, I'd low key just get an EV Ever

If it fits your budget the EV Everse 8 is a great battery powered speakers for such things.

Looking to upgrade speakers from bedroom speakers to event speakers

#1 don't chase "Watts" because most speakers in the lower tiers are completely lying#2 for a brand that is like, bottom tier of something I would actually spend money on, the Alto TS412 or similar is like, scraping the bottom end but can sound OK. see this post https://www.reddit.com/r/livesound/com

Rallies/events

Check out Electrovoice (EV) Everse series. 8in or 10in versions, battery powered, built in digital mixer with phone/tablet support, quite impressive. Not cheap.

Looking to start an open mic night

Since you mentioned, I am a big fan of anything Electro-Voice. All the new mains and sticks talk to each other and you run your

Need Suggestions: Event Sound System

Something like the EV Everse series paired with Sennheiser EWDX system will likely be your most compact and robust solution. Sennheiser used to make a speaker with integrated wireless, but it has been discontinued.

Looking for a small portable speaker with a XLR input

Check out the 8” EV everse. Alternatively the Sound Bullet would do what you need and more.

Outdoor PA

You could, but its not going to be ideal. In a perfect world you'd get something like this. https://www.thomannmusic.com/ev_everse_8.htm But yes, the Micromix 2 RCA out into the 3.5mm input of the soundboks Go will technically work. Its definitely not something I would be comfortable using.

Straatoptreden (Eindhoven) tijdens koningsdag.

Klinkt leuk! Wat voor apparatuur heb je al om mee te nemen? Er zijn ook PA speakers met batterij, ik ben zelf groot fan van de EV Everse 8 bijvoorbeeld
