need help picking speakers!

Gifting products is difficult. Especially speakers. Because they might be personal choice how one likes their audio to sound. Will Yamaha A-S501 improve my existing setup?

You’d be better off spending the money on a cheaper amp and some nicer passive speakers. Think like a Fosi BT20A Pro amp and a pair of ELAC b6.2’s, Triangle BR03’s, KEF Q350’s, etc. plus your current speakers already have an amp.

Gifting a turntable ?

I’ve heard good things about Elac Debut Speakers but if OP is seeking Power Speakers the 2.0 B6.2 ain’t it. They are passive speakers.
