Thoughts on this Fluance stack for my first TT set up?

Nope. Get the turntable, lose the rest. My usual first-timer recommendation is: Fluance RT82 ($299) Yamaha A-S301 stereo amp (decent built-in phono stage, $349) KEF Q150 passive speakers ($299) Some folks don’t want a separate amp and would prefer powered speakers. I only ended up with the LSX II since I got a really good deal, but would have had no hesitation buying the

turntable and speakers

I don’t know if there would be really good powered speaker options at just $300. (There are some that are meant for desktop/near-field listening.) Maybe these at around $500: ELAC Debut ConneX DCB41 (SECRETS of Home Theater and High Fidelity review) Q Acoustics M20 HD (UK page) (SECRETS of Home Thea
