All depends on your usage. Some people run their network like a mini business IT setup and for that you want your own equipment after the ont. For the average person that just wants to stream netflix and play some video games the eero works just fine. As for the extenders I won't tell you what to do

You can't go far wrong with Zen. Excellent customer service and when I had an issue with my connection it was sorted quickly. They may seem expensive but no mid contract price rises. I agree. Upgraded my router from an Eero Pro 6 to an Eero Max 7 and the connection has been great on my Portal. Don’t understand why you received a bunch of downvotes but that just goes to show a lot of people are sheep and uneducated 🤣

I have eero, but I bought consumer 3 pack of the eero max 7. The frontier provided one was trash. That said, don’t know much about the diagnostic capability of these. Only know they finally game my house stable connectivity for iot devices and the like.
