All-in-one record player - beginner under $400
Why not separate speakers? Because you don't want a large stereo receiver? It's not needed, you can get a pair of small powered speakers with a built in speaker amp with wired input for the turntable plus Bluetooth input for wireless music from a smartphone, tablet or computer. Turntable: Automatic

Too many records and nothing to play them with. Recs for the recs?
Edifier are too pricey now with all the recent price increases. 4" Edifier R1280DBs are $199 now :( too much for basic entry level starter speakers for a small room. If anyone wants powered speakers with a remote... Spend $20 more for the larger better 5.25" Neumi BSP5 ARC $219 and they add an HDMI

Beginner DJ: 5 months in reflections, questions, speaker recs

I just got a free turntable!!!
the edifier r1280dbs sonically are an ok choice. financially they're a foolish choice. they're powered and you'd be using the preamp on the at deck so when you go to upgrade turntable or speakers you'll end up having to rebuy an external preamp and/or power amp. if you buy a nice amp or reciever wit

In the shadowed vales of the digital ether, where the weary wanderer—aye, that spectral soul adrift in the labyrinth of audiophile arcana—treads forth upon his quixotic odyssey through the forbidden scrolls of YouTube, lo! The crimson glow of consumerist temptation beckons. With furrowed brow and ca
