I have the audio technica lp70x. I love it. I just bought some basic edifier r1280t bookshelf speakers for it. Works like a dream.

RT82 + Fosi X4 + Edifier R1280Ts. Allows you to easily add a subwoofer later. Less than $600. If you can swing an extra $50 I’d get the Edifier R1700BTs for a little more wattage. Personally, I think the RT83 has a better stylus for not much more.
