There are some third party controllers that can do that now too. I have one, works well. Pro 2 looks great, but I'm just too cheap, lol. Edit: Since my reply stating which controller I got seems to have gotten buried ... Easy SMX S10 - $60 USD Couldn't find the listing on Amazon CA. Been digging it.

The ESR One Touch matte screen protectors are life savers. If you play handheld pretty often then I would suggest a grip of some sort. Do any new third-party controllers wake up the docked Switch 2 from sleep yet? or are they still unable to do it?
EasySMX S10 does (girlfriend has one, so personal experience) Gamesir has a couple, notably the Super Nova that claim they can (just ordered one, can confirm further in a few days)
