Let me preface this by saying I have never been a fan of Dyson and think a lot of their stuff is massively over priced but their robot vacuum is by far the best I have ever had. Dyson 360 Vis Nav™ robot vacuum https://www.dyson.com/vacuum-cleaners/robot/360-vis-nav/blue-nickel The suction power this

Automated vacuum cleaners; any recommendations?

We have the Dyson 360 Vis Nav, we need it mostly because lots of carpets and debris with the kids… Navigation wise it’s dumber (uses optical) than the newer ones using LiDAR but for raw suction power and cleaning it’s still king… as with any other Dyson vac products…

Robot mop vacuums not designed in China, with dual voltage?

Shark robot vacuums are primarily designed and manufactured in China. iRobot robot vacuums were designed in the US and often made in Thailand, but with recent developments (iRobot getting acquired by a Chinese company) now everything is Chinese-owned and R&D is entirely done in China (as well as man

Do you consider a robot vacuum an apartment hack?

I’d definitely consider it an apartment hack. I have a Dyson 360 Vis Nav and a husky that sheds like it’s her full-time job, and it’s been a huge quality-of-life upgrade. The biggest benefit isn’t that it replaces deep cleaning. It’s that it keeps things from ever getting out of control. I have mine
