I know this is a pretty male dominated hobby/subreddit, so where are my keeb girlies at? Let’s be friends!
Green girlies unite! This is the Drop CTRL V2, with Gateron Yellow Pro switches for most of the keyboard and AKKO V3 Penguin switches for the space/enter/shift keys, and then Osume Dalgona + Matcha Marshmallow profile key caps. Currently ordered and working on building a black one for writing, but t

Gift for my sister!
This is my most exciting build to date! I took my first keyboard ever, the Drop CTRL V1, and spray-painted the aluminum top casing with lavender paint. I then added Gateron Yellow KS3 Switches and hand-lubed Everglide Panda V3 Gold-Plated Mounted Stabilizers. To finish it off, I used the Drop + Bees

I swear there are too many people like this.
It's not as bad as the community makes it sound. Back in the day, if you wanted a custom board, you had to solder your own switches, build or program your own pcb, etc.. Now switches are hot swappable and mappings can be changed on the fly. The hobbyists have nothing left to do, so they have to inve

Found a CTRL v1 high profile at a thrift store. Was filthy but works fine other than missing alt key.
One of the feet on my drop ctrl fell off and I lost it, emailed Drop about getting a replacement and they said they don't offer replacements. I was pretty baffled that I couldn't get a fucking small rubber foot replaced on my $250 keyboard. Luckily I found the foot a week later wedged between my des

We're all one
Hey thanks for all the switch reviews The land of group buys is about the same size as back in 2017-2018, but the hobby’s WAY bigger. In a lotta ways the difference is good: There’s enough decent in stock boards and caps that the difference in quality between those and customs and GMK n Sig Plastics

I was washing my key caps with warm water and soap soaking in a bowl and my wife dumped them in the garbage disposal. Luckily, only one key was damaged before it was turned off. My Q is damaged and need a replacement for my Drop CTRL v1. I can’t find this set anymore. Any ideas?

Hey guys, I’m trying to get my son a keyboard for gaming. He currently has a drop ctrl v2 but wants something smaller 60/65% size. Any recommendations for something custom? Was looking at the mode new sixty five but at almost $500 I feel there has to be better value somewhere else and I can use the

For that budget I would have a look at the Neo lineup, like Neo 75Cu or Neo 80. If you don't want to build yourself, there is the Evo80. Other places to look would Mode designs, though they might go over budget with many of their options. In the more custom route there are plenty of kits nowadays, t

Anyone had luck with a gaming keypad?
Any standard TKL (tenkeyless) keyboard will work for the core on the right hand side. I have used an Anne Pro 2 and a Drop Ctrl over the years. I use the core on the right.
