I'm with you 100%. I just sent back my second robo Rock. Curve 2 and Saros 20. Dreame ugh L40, then X40, they sent an x50 as an upgrade and apology since both were broken. The x50 was completely defective, it didn't even fill the vacuum with clean water. Waiting on my S2 to ship.

I wonder how many consumers just give up trying to decipher the confusing names and features and go elsewhere. I appreciate that there are so many different options but to spend more thinking you covered all the bases only to find out the model you chose is actually missing a feature you thought it

This is the type of thing I love to hear. I’m currently dealing with Dreame’s support with my x40. They sent it back broken and sounds like it may be a total loss with the way they are handling things. I’ve kept my eye on the flow… missed out on the early bird as my x40 was still functioning.

Mop+vac is not a good idea imo (for the dreame x40 ultra at least). The vacuum port is narrower than the mop pads so it can get messy. Similar experience here (also AU) - I has the X40 Ultra worked perfectly for 17 months and then just died entirely. Sent in for servicing got it back and it was "fixed" in that it would now turn on and the motors worked but other than that it was still useless as it couldn't even complete a mapping
