How to color grade D-Log footage from Osmo Pocket 3 like the DJI Mimo app?

First off, DJI has made a confusing mess and named two totally different color spaces basically the same. Your Camera records in D-Log-M, this is nothing like D-Log used in their top tier products. Sadly DJI refuses to publish any documentation on D-Log-m, so there are not a lot of good color manage

Osmo Pocket 4 - The World In My Pocket

As someone who uses both setups a whole lot in public (it's basically how I make my living) the DJI Pocket is far more discreet. Everyone knows and can see you with your phone on a gimbal, even though it's still obvious when you're recording with a Pocket 3 it draws way less attention. Also it's jus

DJI Osmo pocket 3 or action 6

DJI osmo action 6. It’s best for vlogs. More rugged. Audio is amazing. Low light is amazing. The pocket 3 is great, with a caveat. The gimbal is fragile. It is the camera I keep at home. Amazing to have, keep it safe at home.

As a hiker is it worth buying Osmo Pocket 3?

I record my trail runs in mountains with DJI Osmo Action 4 / 5 and also used the Pocket 3 for a few weeks. The footage from the Pocket 3 is about the best I've ever had, although in mountain conditions you need to bear in mind it's not waterproof at all, and also the gimbal is fragile if you take a

What is the GR III of video cameras?

My go to travel kit is a gr3 and a DJI osmo pocket 3. The 1" sensor + stabilization is awesome. It’s such a great combo for photo and video.

Does anyone have a specific setup they believe in for filming games regarding location, height, angle, and equipment to support this positioning?

Here's my setup as a professional commercial filmmaker who now also does pickleball reviews / content so I need gameplay footage to talk through things and am picky about how it looks. I've run phones, professional cameras, gopros, etc but my preferred method is the dji osmo pocket 3. It's small, li

My first Pocket Video, thought and advice welcome!

That's great footage! In terms of getting things smooth - I struggle too unless I hold the device super close to me. One way of improving things if you haven't got dialogue in your video is to shoot in 50fps and then slow down the footage by half in post to 25fps... If you invest in a couple of ND f

28 Years Later (2025). Danny Boyle Cinematography: Anthony Dod Mantle Photo by: Miya Mizuno

I'm there with you. The lenses and the extra large screen make me doubt, but it's possible because the best iPhones under the right conditions can deliver high quality images. Just like the little DJI Osmo Pocket 3 in D-Log

Watch out DJI! Canon is here

LMAO! The Action 5 and 6 have much better low-light performance than the 4. Similarly, the Pocket 4 has better low light and dynamic range and also has full blown LOG format when compared to the Pocket 3. DJI uses the same body style to allow for the accessory ecosystem to transition into their new
