X3000 still works, worth upgrading?
I have it still and a dji osmo action 4. The action 4 is a "better" camera. But not by much. I still love the sony and find myself wanting to use it more than the dji. The dji has the screen and the better battery life, but mate there is something about the sony footage that is much nicer and feels

Best placement for external exhaust mic (Zoom H1n) without taking the seat off? (High-speed wind noise issues)
Yeah, that wasn't the best example, the mic was on my shoelaces and the shoe itself was still exposed to wind. Tucking it under the trousers would probably help. Also, sound quality is night and day depending on speed, below 100 km/h it's solid, but once you're above that, wind starts wrecking it. A

What camera
I had an Insta360 for a while. Same deal. Big files, time-consuming to edit. Not I have a DJI Osmo Action 4. Things I like: Dual screens, easy to operate, replaceable lenses (including an optional boost lens that increases the FOV), and it shoots great video. It does have issues with some aftermarke

Need help picking a camera for vlogging!
For what you want to do, ANY of the Osmo range will be good. Even the action 4 which is older and cheaper will be absolutely fine and is a great camera still. If money’s tight, look for a refurbished deal on DJI they are guaranteed for 12 months still. The pocket cameras have better image quality bu

vlogging with s25 ultra ?
Dji action would be more ideal due to weight, size and if it drops (oh well, instead of oh noooo) S25U would be way better quality video. action cams are a fixed focal, so they're not honestly even ideal for vlogs. They're basically $30 camera hardware being sold for multiple hundreds. The point of

Looking for easy underwater camera
I recently got a DJI osmo action 4 and I’ve loved it. I didn’t want to invest too much since it was my first time doing underwater photography. Wanted to get comfortable and not lose a ton of money if I lost it. But it’s been really good quality for me and super easy to use underwater.

Best Action Camera Right Now? Need Recommendations
I’ve been using the DJI Osmo Action 4 and it’s been really solid. Great stabilization, good battery life, and the footage looks clean even on bumpy rides. If you want alternatives, GoPro Hero 12/13 is still strong and the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is great if you care more about image quality than simplici

What is truly the best action camera?
You can consider: Osmo Action 4 - has the best Normal profile out of the recent DJI cameras. The 5 and the 6 have a less pleasing HDR-y look. If you want an easy - record, chop the clips and put them together workflow, the Osmo Action 4 will be my pick for this. The Normal Profile is also 10 bit so
