What's the Best Espresso Machine for Home Use Widely Loved by Aficionados?

Okay, know that is probably entry level for espresso. Doesn't mean you can't get something good but it might not be a forever setup. Best advice is to make sure you're getting a good grinder as that's the more important of the two. There are a lot of options still, and as some of said it's probably

DF54 --> Mazzer Philos / Lagom P64? [$1000 USD]

It's been a few weeks since your post so not sure what you ended up doing, but I felt your pain. I had a similar experience with constant clogging on my DF64 Gen 2 (even with a hot start and slow feeding), and eventually, the frustration just outweighed the cost of upgrading. Thoughts on new Profitec Twist SD54?

That’s what I am debating between DF64 gen 2 with titanium burrs and this knowing there is a big price difference. I am just worried about the DF build quality and see issues on Reddit but don’t know if it’s just small sample size.

Lingering noise from burrs in grinder. [DF64 Gen 2]

Hello, I just received my DF64 Gen 2 and I’m having the same issue. At first I thought it was stuck coffee, but it’s actually the burrs—the zero point goes out of calibration every time I grind a few beans. It even shifts just by pressing the bellows to clear out the remaining grounds. I think it’s

Grinding Noise After Completion [DF64 Gen 2]

I just started using my DF64 Gen 2 and I’m having the same issue. It seems the wavy metal piece inside, which acts as a spring, isn’t very good, and the zero point shifts easily—even just by tapping the bellows. I haven’t found a solution so far Recién estrene mi df65 gen2 y me pasa igual, parece qu

DF54 vs Fellow Opus Gen 2

I just had my df64 gen 1 die after 3 years of service. The threads bound up and the collar needed to be cut off to salvage the burrs. My roommate has the fellow opus gen 1. I would say that for espresso the fellow opus gen 1 was entirely incapable of anything lighter than a darker medium roast. The
