Windows on Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme is finally what Arm laptops should have been
I have briefly tried a Lunar Lake laptop (Dell XPS 13) and it did not feel as snappy for my workflow. PTL laptops are too expensive right now for what they offer.

Microsoft takes on MacBook Neo with new 'value advantage report,' claims Windows laptops offer double the RAM for less money and up to 56% longer battery life
I've been pretty loyal to Dell and have had some good computers. I came from a Dell XPS 13 from 2020 that had served me well, but had seen better days. I tried the 14 Plus because I didn't want to spend another $1300 on a laptop. But it feels like you have to do that with Windows to get something th

Your pick for the best overall laptop brand?
I don't trust any of them. I'll have to buy a new laptop in due time because I can't upgrade the RAM. I currently have a dell xps 13 from 2018. It was basically the top of the line one that i got at a black friday deal for 30% off. Had to replace the battery once, which is fine, but now with windows

Asus Co-CEO: MacBook Neo Is a 'Shock' to the PC Industry
Any at that 200+ ppi range? I’ve found a couple that are close but nothing that can meet all the criteria, HP Omnibook 7 doesn’t have the nits Dell XPS 13 doesn’t have the pixels And mind you both of these cost significantly more But yeah idk what that other guy is smoking plenty of laptops in the 1

Buying a ThinkPad X1 Gen13/14 just for a summer internship. Debating on whether to get a Dell XPS instead. I've been a loyal MacBook user since my first ever keystroke.
Dell XPS laptops tend to be hit or miss. If you're looking at a new one, be sure to test out the keyboard first or be prepared to return it. The keyboard is wacky. (I am looking forward to seeing what the Dell XPS 13 2026 model ends up being. It's supposed to be lighter, cheaper, and not use the sam

Introducing Framework Laptop 13 Pro
There is no XPS 13 with an Intel Ultra x7. You are probably looking at the XPS 14. The Dell XPS 14 with the X7 358H, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and the 2-8K OLED touch screen is 2309 USD. The framework 13 Pro with the same processor, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD and Windows is 2299 USD. Not sure where you are g

Shoddy little brainfuck compiler in C
Wow I didn't expect such a comprehensive reply. Really interesting, actually. Now you've typed it up you might as well post it on your blog. :D Thanks to w64dk the past few years I've done a whole lot of development on this system anyway. For developing my own software, my way, it's overall a better

Which one should I go with?
I would heavily consider a MacBook. I just replaced my Dell XPS 13 with one and I’ve been very happy with it

Why does a Windows laptop feel slower than a MacBook.. even when both have the same RAM?
The laptop he's holding up isn't an affordable option it looks like a Dell XPS 13 so it's absolutely right to compare it to a Macbook Air or Macbook Pro

Introducing Framework Laptop 13 Pro
Compared with laptops with equivalent specs and quality it's actually pretty cheap. The Dell xps 13 with an Intel ultra x7 and 32gb of ram is $400 more expensive than the framework with those specs.
