The new Surface Laptop 8 is a $900 increase from Laptop 7, bringing it to $2300 in Canada
Dell released their wildcat lake laptop today. Xps13. Nearly half the price. Similar features. 120hz. Touchscreen. Except it has Linux support. Framework was already expensive. This makes the framework look like the budget option.

Is there a reason why we dont have a dual port option?
Given that the FW13 has 4 flexible ports (and FW16 even 6) I don't see much point. USB-A is becoming obsolete. A lot of peripherals are Bluetooth connected anyway. Brand new XPS 16, nowhere near 30 hours of battery life they claim
Wipe it, and install Windows 11 IoT LTSC. Never use the image that comes with the laptop. I’ve got the current XPS 13 9350 and this easily lasts me multiple days before I have to charge. In a day, I can keep going with ease.
