I'm purchasing a monitor setup for a home office. I'm primarily looking at text for document editing/review, email, video calls, etc. I'm upgrading from a 27" 1080p screen, which is horribly grainy.

I will mainly use them for programming (including frontend, so good color is a bonus), I also want the screen to be pleasant to the eyes, and I do a little single-player gaming.

I purchased Dell S2725qs. Price was too good (around $220 usd new in the box). 1st I found my Elitebook has one hdmi and monitor has no hub, so i ordered hub to add 2nd monitor. Colors are a bit out. I just wanted to get a 2nd opinion on my purchase. I own a Mac Mini M4, I use it for productivity and very mild gaming. Today I got a Dell S2725QC (I didn't get S2725QS cuz I like the type-c connectivity), was there something better that I could have gotten for the price? I got it discounted for $32

Seems like a solid price for a 4K 120Hz IPS panel. DP1.4 should be able to just handle it at 10-bit. On a 7800XT but I don't mind using FSR when I have to. Seems like it only supports VRR over HDMI though.

I'm more worried about stuff like white uniformity and response times. Can't seem to find muc
