Microsoft forced to bring back Surface Laptop with 8GB RAM as it scrambles to keep prices down amidst RAM crisis: New device fails to meet Copilot+ PC requirements
Unless you absolutely need software that only runs on Windows, I would argue the MacBook Neo and Air at their prices are better than the other options. New Dell Pro Max 16 Plus .. fan control? Fans stay always on
Just received Dell Pro 16 Plus (not "max") and was hoping the fan would be under control, but after initial setup notice moderate fan speed that persists while idle. Did the Dell optimize app and set for quiet, didn't help. Any new solutions since this thread began?

Dell Pro 14 / 16 loud fan
Same here. Dell Pro 16 Plus with the 238V CPU, PB 16250. The fan is constantly running — you can hear it even in the BIOS and when nothing is running. Alll updates installed. Tried changing all thermal profiles and power settings, but it makes zero difference. Nothing helps. Super annoying.
