Dell Precision 5570 or 7560 better for SolidWorks?

I have a 7670 for work. A super common issue with them is the fans failing and they start making tons of noise. Everyone at work has had it happen to them and dell replaces our fans while they’re still under warranty.

Dell refused to repair my Alienware m18 under Premium Support after their own technician’s intervention – what are my options?

I have a sneaking suspicion that Dell's is pulling more of its "CID" BS. I've had several Precision 7670/7680 model machines (with accidental coverage no less) get rejected by dell at my own shop (I work at an authorized repair center) due to claims of "Customer Induced Damage" (CID) simply because

Laptop LCD panel fell out after previous repair, now Dell says it is accidental damage and will not honor warranty

Yeah, Europe has proper and effective consumer protection laws. The US on the other hand... Well it should be obvious by now. The model in question was a Precision 7670 with 4y Pro Plus support and accidental. We're no longer a reseller for Dell at this point (just a service provider now) - they've

Why so much hate for HP?

Yes, you are entitled to your own opinion. However your opinion lacks nuance/context and you present it as if it is absolute fact - that is the problem. I've worked on or owned models from across every consumer and business line that Dell, Lenovo or HP makes and long enough to pick up on trends in t

Upgrading Dell Precision 7680 thin (no performance) model from CAMM to SODIMM memory

Dell doesn't claim that Interposer board is compatible with the 7680, only the 7770 and 7670. I'm assuming they ran into the same issue you did? If the fitment is too tight, you can add kapton tape or even painters tape if you're worried. I'd be worried about my clearance being too tight and causing

What is Dell’s competitor to the Lenovo ThinkPad T16?

Dell precision 7670, 7680, etc. Because what you're describing is called a "workstation" and Dell makes high end workstations. I usually buy them refurbished because their new cost is crazy high
