My only issue has been with s3 sleep. The Latitude 7430 I'm on now has had it remove for Windows reasons and the battery will drain 50% overnight in s2 sleep (the only one available). Have you seen newer Latitudes (or even XPS) without this problem?

I have a gen 4 Thinkpad T14 i5 and use a Latitude 7430 i5 from work and can attest the Thinkpad is not only more powerful (at least the version I have compared to the work one), but also better built.

You're probably right honestly. My company also uses very standard corporate Dell machines but I'm pretty sure they also dump 3-4 different security agents that audit all I/O 24/7 and it's likely the primary factor. It just has definitely gotten worse since the move to Windows 11; unsure if it adds

I was curious so I googled https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dell-Latitude-7430-14-FHD-Touchscreen-Laptop-Intel-Core-i7-1265U-3-6GHz-32GB-Ram-512GB-SSD-Windows-11-Professional-Good/18742667631?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=5812 I'd say no to Dell's deal. This one is far better specs wise. and cheaper.

Nah, it's just a bad design thing. I have a Dell Latitude 7430 and it's never woken up with the lid closed. I don't even need to close the lid, 'cause if it doesn't detect me in front of laptop, it just goes to sleep on its own.

There isn’t much of a difference with managing browser tabs on Windows versus Mac. You can definitely bookmark the ones you don’t need open to come back to later. The one thing that I do notice is that performance is better on my Mac with lots of browser tabs open than my work Latitude 7430. On the

Not sure if this will be the same but I am having a similar issue with a latitude 7430. Can get the HW Hash and upload it but the device will not get the profile. Pre-provisioning shows No profile available. If I continue manually it will add the device as a personal even though the hash is in Intun
