In Germany, nearly everyone new to espresso chooses the DeLonghi Dedica as the first machine as it's a decent machine for its price. Don't know it's price in the US though

I have this same machine since 3 years and a half ago and I love it. When it breaks I'll have a difficult time deciding what to pick next. If it lasts many more years, meaning. It has good durability, I don't see a reason to pick anything more expensive. I must say the difference with my late De'Lon

No, don’t go for anything below a DeLonghi Dedica if you’re getting an espresso machine

Damn. The one I bought for like $230 heats up water haha. But really if anyone’s looking for a cheap basic machine that makes a decent coffee, it’s a DeLonghi Dedica. We do have a separate grinder though.

Fang wie einer schon sagte mit der DeLonghi Dedica EC685 Siebträgermaschine an. Bau aber direkt ein IMS Duschsieb (DL200IM) an und ersetze die stümperhafte Dampflanze gegen eine Rancilio. Kostet nicht die Welt, gibt zig Tutorials und verbessert die Maschine enorm. Wasserfilter hinten rein in den Tan
