VPNs if you want to swtich from Proton or Mullvad
Windscribe will soon have to follow new regulations as outlined by Bill C-22 in Canada, I have commented on it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/degoogle/comments/1uf3k65/since_everyone_is_doing_this_now/otoso45/ Whatever you do, flee from Kape Technologies (ExpressVPN, Private Internet Access, CyberGhost)

Someone doesn't understand HTTPS in 2026
Well, PIA, ExpressVPN and Cyber Ghost are all owned by the same company. The same company that was well-known for distributing malware and adware before their rebrand in 2018.

Best VPN Service Available Right Now?
This may or may not matter to you but I have always loved PIA until 2019 when they were purchased by the Israeli firm Kape. I went digging to find an alternative and it turns out Kape also owns ExpressVPN and CyberGhost. Now I stick with Switzerland-based Proton since I don’t want to support Israel

"Can somebody please think of the children"
There are going to be many adults who don't want tonnes of companies holding whatever type of personal data they request to verify age, forced to use VPNs. "Kape Technologies, an Israeli-linked company with a history of surveillance-related activity, now owns four of the world’s largest VPN services

Best VPN
Whatever you choose, don’t go for the following as they’re owned by Israel. Fuck Israel. ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, Private Internet Access (PIA), and ZenMate. Also Perimeter 81 (Founded by Israeli cybersecurity professionals), Cato Networks (Israeli-based enterprise security company), Allot (Israeli c

'I don't like that he made this donation' — Mullvad CEO reacts to co-founder's donation to controversial Swedish populist party
Almost all of them are owned by one company, Kape Technologies, where the owner Teddy Sagi was the fourth richest Israeli businessman at one point. Paying for CyberGhost, Private Internet Access, ZenMate, ExpressVPN is funding not just a fraudster, but also someone who used to sell invasive adware.

I had to discontinue using Proton VPN and switch to a different VPN provider
Not just ExpressVPN, they also own CyberGhost, Private Internet Access and Intego AV, among others. That's a huge infrastructure and some major VPN provider. They also bought about 80% of all VPN review websites and Influencers to constantly be ranked amongst the top VPN provider - obviously, if you

crazy story - Man seeks $176M after being paralyzed in Rust swatting he warned police about
Vpn companies are really just shell companies of larger companies, it would be a long time to get to the original server logs, and by that time logs are rotated already out or there are no logs because many companies use ram disks now and on reboot nothing is left behind. Doesn't matter if usa or so
