Well, PIA, ExpressVPN and Cyber Ghost are all owned by the same company. The same company that was well-known for distributing malware and adware before their rebrand in 2018.

Best VPN Service Available Right Now?
This may or may not matter to you but I have always loved PIA until 2019 when they were purchased by the Israeli firm Kape. I went digging to find an alternative and it turns out Kape also owns ExpressVPN and CyberGhost. Now I stick with Switzerland-based Proton since I don’t want to support Israel
