($2500-$3000 budget) PC Build for gamedev work, 3D modeling, and some gaming

For the CPU, I picked the 9950X. It's an amazingly fast CPU with 16 cores. It stays cool with a great non-rgb 360mm AIO. The motherboard has wifi, 5Gb ethernet and extra M.2 & DIMM slots for future upgrades. The build has 64GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD, ultra-fast PCIe 5.0 SSD with dram cache. This disk

In the market for a rig built around a 5090

Thanks for the quick reply. CPU: As you can see here, the Ultra 9 285K is the fastest consumer CPU for most AI/ML tasks. CPU COOLER: The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 is an excellent AIO cooler. This can go in the top of the case as exhaust, blowing up. MOTHERBOARD: The Gigabyte Z890 AORUS ELITE

What are some SSD/high speed transfer storage products?

just plug the phone into the laptop with a lightning to usb c cable. And as for ssds, how fast are we talking? the crucial T710 and samsung 9100 pro are stupid fast (10000+mB/s) but do you need that? or do you just want something that's moderately fast like the samsung 980 pro?

RTX 5090 build

Thanks for the reply. I used this MicroCenter bundle for the CPU, mb, and memory. This saves you a whopping $430 compared to buying the same three parts online. CPU: The 9800X3D is an excellent CPU for gaming. As you can see here, when paired with a 5090, it’s less than 1% slower than the top 9850X3

$4k budget for a lifelong laptop gamer

CPU: AMD X3D CPUs are noticeably faster for gaming than Intel’s CPUs, but when gaming at 4K, the majority of the heavy lifting is being done by the GPU. This reduces the impact of the CPU. As you can see here, when gaming at 4K, the 9850X3D (the current gaming champ) is about 8% faster than the Inte
