Any ssd recommendation for Asus TUF A15 FA507NUR

I ended up getting a 2TB Crucial T500 for mine. This was back before RAM and storage skyrocketed in cost. Anyway, it's fantastic, runs cool, single sided so you can use a heat sink if you want and still have clearance. Pretty fast, and has a low power draw at idle.

You can take it with you to the next laptop, and then you'll get the gen4 performance. https://www.tomshardw

Thunderbolt 4 external NVME

I guess, the Crucial T500 is the better choice for your MacBook Pro M4 setup with the Satechi enclosure. Both drives offer near-identical PCIe 4.0 speeds suitable for Thunderbolt 4/USB4: the 990 Pro hits up to 7,450 MB/s read and 6,900 MB/s write, while the T500 reaches 7,400 MB/s read and 7,000 MB/
