3d printer enthusiasts of Perth. Seeking recommendations for 3d printing services in Perth for printing gpu shrouds. Alternatively recommend a place to learn to build/print myself.
I've also decided I wouldn't mind looking for a local printer farm coz I have a 3D printer and want a heap of one product that I could print, but it will just take forever. A farm with 20 printers, I'd only need like 4-6 hours of their time. For me, that would take months. But don't discount getting

Am I stupid for not getting AMS
To be honest, if you're just "giving it a try" at this point, I wouldn't say you're wrong at all. While yes, you are saving a bit of money getting their combo's as opposed to buying the printer and an AMS seperately, it's also quite a bit more than JUST the printer if you're not sure how much you'll

First 3D printer
My first printer was an Ender 3. It was cool for a minute but I hated how cumbersome it was. I stopped printing for a year or so. I recently bought a Creality K2 Plus Combo on marketplace for $800, and itās amazing. Iām back in love with the hobby. Printing is so much easier. Iāve had an issue or tw

Was thinking of buying a H2D but friends are warning me away from Bambu?
Might be a bit late, but I'm going to try to sum this up quite simply: Proprietary hardware, yes. Expensive? Not really, honestly. Yeah, you can't just buy a cheap 3rd party nozzle for 10 bucks (or maybe you CAN... but I wouldn't personally want to use it), but with Bambu, you don't have to do what

Need help deciding on my first 3D printer
Unfortunately, when it comes to larger format printers you will have a higher price. It is hard to completely recommend a printer at a price limit of about $575 USD. Which is $800 CAD. With that said, I can give you my experiences with relatively recent large format printers. Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus -

Qidi Q2 filament loading temp.
You're pretty knowledgeable about these Qidi's right. I thought Ive seen that you're very active on this sub. Would you know if since I ordered the max 4 combo, would that Qidi box work on both the max 4 and the q2? I assumed it would just based on my experience with my Creality K2 plus with cfs. Ho

Bambu Labās Controversial āAuthorization Controlā Hits Budget 3D Printers
š¤·āāļøI'm perfectly fine with the "walled garden". Their slicer is the only one I use. Why use another slicer that's just a different branch of the same slicer anyway? I had a Creality K2 Plus Combo for a few months, but when I had to resume a 7 hour print that was a few minutes away from being complete,
