Dreadnought class! Sadly it took two AMT model kits to make a Dreadnought class ship. Also a lot of putty and glue. I read the book back in the day and always wanted one. It’s apparently Beta Cannon-ish.
I mean, they can always be scaled and printed in pieces like a regular model kit. As for the printer, I’d recommend the Creality K1 Max or K2 Plus if you want to print larger objects in one shot. Otherwise the Bambu P1S or P2S will do a great job (P2S combo is great for multi-color prints)

Is the AD5X worth it?
...I'm not too thrilled with how much waste is produced for one thing, and I would want an enclosure (that was the first thing I printed for each printer). I really like the idea of printing an enclosure for the AD5X but I've heard the wait time for the kit can be very long... If waste is the main and

Am I stupid for not getting AMS
To be honest, if you're just "giving it a try" at this point, I wouldn't say you're wrong at all. While yes, you are saving a bit of money getting their combo's as opposed to buying the printer and an AMS seperately, it's also quite a bit more than JUST the printer if you're not sure how much you'll

3d printer enthusiasts of Perth. Seeking recommendations for 3d printing services in Perth for printing gpu shrouds. Alternatively recommend a place to learn to build/print myself.
I've also decided I wouldn't mind looking for a local printer farm coz I have a 3D printer and want a heap of one product that I could print, but it will just take forever. A farm with 20 printers, I'd only need like 4-6 hours of their time. For me, that would take months. But don't discount getting

Thinking of Switching from Creality to Bambu Labs – Worth It?
I am so happy that I found this post. I have a bambu P2 S that’ll be here next week, I bought two Crealities this past month first one was the K2 combo. It broke down. The second one was a K2 plus it broke down and I never even got to use it. Customer support and technical support is absolutely terr

give me your honest reviews of FLSUN
I got the S1 Pro, and it was terrible. I could NOT get it to print well; the filament dryer didn't work; other issues. I bought it locally from Micro Center. On the last day of my return window I woke up to find the effector encased in plastic and broken in two. It went back and was replaced by a Cr

Weird periodic pattern on bottom layers on P2S.
I manually have adjust my z offset when I print something wide. I have to do it every time! I thought if you adjust the z offset manually on your printer that the offset would stick going forward… at least that’s what ChatGPT says. Creality k2 plus combo with Orcaslicer

My next printer will be the MAX 4
I've placed an order for a Max 4 as well. Currently I have an Ender 3 Max that I've wanted to replace for a while. I have a love/hate relationship with the thing and really want a modern core xy printer in a heated chamber that can print high temperature filaments. I love how plug and play the Bambu

Recommendation, H2S vs P2S vs K2 Plus. Or something else?
The P2S is an awesome machine you will not regret. If you need a bigger printing area the H2S is amazing. Whatever you get, get a combo unit with ams so you have automatic filament loading and storage. Don’t get the K2 Plus and I’ll tell you why. If you get lucky and get shipped a good one it will r
