Additive manufacturing a.k.a 3D printing has expanded tremendously over the last decade and become much more commercially accessible. Just the categories of 3D printing (FDM, SLS, PBF, SLA, etc) can be overwhelming. It's your first I would stick to FDM. Since your use case is potentially replacing f

That’s frustrating, but the Creality K1 is usually pretty reliable once it’s dialed in. Repeated clogs like that are often small tuning issues rather than anything serious. I’d look at retraction settings and temps first, and maybe check filament quality too. Creality machines are generally easy to

that sounds more like a first layer calibration or slicer issue than hardware. the creality k1 max is usually very consistent once the first layer is dialed in. i'd recheck z-offset and first layer flow, maybe re-slice the file too. creality machines tend to lock in really well after small adjustmen

we mostly run stuff like the Creality K1C 3D Printer and a few larger K1/K2 series machines. main reason is they’re pretty reliable once dialed in, and they handle tougher materials well, which matters more for functional parts than just looks. also nice that they’re more open to tweaking compared t

I've had nothing but success with my Creality printers, not one mechanical issue that I didn't create. Thought that Sunlu only sold that "Kidoodle MiniBox A1" thing and that's for kids, is that what you're talking about? Creality sells more printers than anyone else in the 3D hobby printer market. I

I just entered the home 3D printer world. I got the Creality K1C, and so far no problems. I have just been printing PLA-CF for my kid’s FTC robotics projects. I went through a couple of rolls of filament and no print issues so far. I haven’t bothered to do any calibration, and dimensions are good en

I have a Creality K1C a year now, no experience in 3d printing. I started printing after installing the printer in 15min!... I have not stopped :) since then with no proplems (except some 'bad' models).I print all types of PLA and PETG.

my K1C has 2000 hours and 0 issues. Every unit is different and every company has duds. Go over to the bamboo subreddit and you’ll see even they get duds😂 I will agree with you that creality lacks on customer support but virtually every single chinese 3d printer company sucks with support. I point a

Like most things on the internet, people defend their preferred brand. I recently got a 3D printer for my daughter’s robotics project. I got a Creality K1C and had zero failed prints. Many people will tell you that these will fail. But the printer had been out for awhile, so I trusted that a lot of

Well since your dutch I highly recommend 123-3d.nl they have a lot of stuff and my experience with them has been excellent so far and their house brand filaments are also really good and cheap I went through about 6 or 7 kg of their filament so far and had only 1 failure because of improper storage
