Creality appears to be trying to move towards a subscription model. What are your sources for this statement? i'd love to hear from you again, this is FUD. Edit: this dumbass then referred "Creality Cloud" as if "Creality" and "Creality Cloud" are the same. Creality Cloud is completely free to use w

my 2 month old K1C was my first 3D printer and i did learn some stuff i wasn't told before. might not be the biggest or best tips but its something lol when retracting filament, i always take off the PTFE tube, unlock the extruder and pull from the top. I used to just pull from the spool but the PTF

If you look at replacing the main board you will also have to replace the toolhead board as it won’t work with the new mainboard. Honestly if you thinking about doing this the best machine for these types of upgrades is a creality k1 series Edit to add https://github.com/FYSETC/Catalyst_Kit

Buy a Creality K2 and replace the firmware with Klipper, moonraker and mainsail or fluidd , install KAMP and either setup a VPN at your home or do as i did, use Obico (preferably behind cloudflare tunnel) If budget is smaller, search elsewhere, for now, newer K1C 2025 models are not rootable, which

Most people aren’t actually buying separate lids. They usually keep the original top that comes with the Creality K1 and just print a riser to lift it up. A lot of those risers you see are from Printables or Creality Cloud, and the lid sitting on top is still the stock one. Fully custom lids do exis

we mostly run stuff like the Creality K1C 3D Printer and a few larger K1/K2 series machines. main reason is they’re pretty reliable once dialed in, and they handle tougher materials well, which matters more for functional parts than just looks. also nice that they’re more open to tweaking compared t

The original K1 max would not work. I upgraded to the 2025 versions on the PCB board and hot end. Works great now. I think there's something different about the pcb board other than the connectors for the hot end. Creality 2025 K1 Max/K1/K1 SE/K1C Hotend Upgrade Ceramic Heating Block, Official New V

yeah. it sucks to say the truth, especially since not only was the Ender 3 revolutionary when it came out (arguably speaking the world’s first affordable and practical consumer 3D printer), but was probably the first printer of >90% of 3DP hobbyists. That truth is that, with 2026 being less than a m

I got the K1C 2025 on sale about a week ago, for $389 USD. Granted, you’re right the current price is about $500 USD, but the K1 “Speedy” is available rn on the Creality Website for $319 USD.. The price of an Ender 3 V3 SE is about $200 USD here at the moment, but sale prices hover around $180 USD.

Yeah, I wish Big Brother luck. My K1C is heavily modded, and runs an entirely open-source software stack. There's no Creality software left on it. I refuse to buy a 3D printer that I can't do that with.
