I have a lot of Creality K1 & K2s + Bambu’s. They’re all pretty much identical in terms of print quality and maintenance. Of course, YMMV. My experience with Creality has been pleasant.

my 2 month old K1C was my first 3D printer and i did learn some stuff i wasn't told before. might not be the biggest or best tips but its something lol when retracting filament, i always take off the PTFE tube, unlock the extruder and pull from the top. I used to just pull from the spool but the PTF

Buy a Creality K2 and replace the firmware with Klipper, moonraker and mainsail or fluidd , install KAMP and either setup a VPN at your home or do as i did, use Obico (preferably behind cloudflare tunnel) If budget is smaller, search elsewhere, for now, newer K1C 2025 models are not rootable, which

I'll get to uploading it in some time, I'm lazy a bit, was thinking thingverse, is it any good? My printer is creality k1c, plastic is creality brand PLA, they call it "hyper PLA". This printer has its own slicing software so I generally use their preset and just tweak minor things. For this one I l

That's likely a slicer or file issue rather than the printer itself. The Creality K1 Max is usually very consistent with supports once everything lines up. I'd try re-slicing the model and checking support settings or switching slicers. Creality machines generally handle support structures really we

That looks like a small tuning issue rather than anything serious. The Creality K1 usually prints very clean even on stock profiles. I’d tweak temp and flow slightly and maybe slow outer walls a bit. Creality machines tend to dial in nicely with just minor adjustments.

I've had a lot of Creality machines. The K1C, K1Max, and the basic K1 are decent machines that provide good printing. The quality control has improved a lot since their early days. Like all products, there are some units that may suffer issues out of the box or soon after. YMMV. Having a multi-color

we mostly run stuff like the Creality K1C 3D Printer and a few larger K1/K2 series machines. main reason is they’re pretty reliable once dialed in, and they handle tougher materials well, which matters more for functional parts than just looks. also nice that they’re more open to tweaking compared t

The original K1 max would not work. I upgraded to the 2025 versions on the PCB board and hot end. Works great now. I think there's something different about the pcb board other than the connectors for the hot end. Creality 2025 K1 Max/K1/K1 SE/K1C Hotend Upgrade Ceramic Heating Block, Official New V
