Thanks for the additional perspective. I though it might be a particular problem with the Coways, because I didn't notice a smell from the Winix 5510, and the smell from from the BlueAir Signature was faint; but I had noticeable issues with both models of Coways I had tried.

Have you considered a few different smaller units instead of one big unit? It’s a large space and normally you get better coverage and flow from multiple units. the clean air delivery rate of this model is only 200. that’s less than my $100 winix. i have a winix c545 and a coway airmega and i researched for weeks. i would get one for each floor of your house.

Winix. It won’t be best odor reduction but you won’t get any with the Coway -1512hh
