How long for new-filter smell to dissipate on the Coway Airmega ProX?
For 5 years I’ve had 1 Coway storm and 2 Coway AP-dh1008. The two latter have been a struggle to change filter on for the last two years. For the same reason you mention. Each filter change I think it takes about a month with the same technique you do to actually be able to run the mashines like nor

Facebook market place coway airmega 300 for 150$ 3 years old, good deal? Or pass?
Pass. These things should only be bought new. If it was a giveaway deal like $25 maybe. I usually never sell stuff like this just give it away to someone who would use it. I have a couple Coways my bedroom has a Airmega 250.

Smart Air Blast Mk II vs. Coway Airmega ProX
I agree trying a different set of filters is a good suggestion, which I why I've already done that myself! 😄 A couple of weeks ago I contacted Coway, and they sent me a new set of filters. They've been running for about five days, and emit the same odor, though it's possible they're airing out faste

Cost of your Air Purifier(s)?
1/2. 6x Winix C909, couple of Coway Airmega 400/Pro X, Austin Air Bedmate, 1 IQAir Health pro plus 3. Winix $160/each, Coways $350/$600 each, Austin Air $800, IQAir $1200 4. Too damn much. About $2,600-2,900/year Looking back if i were to do it again, for my needs, i would have went with all Winix C

How long for new-filter smell to dissipate on the Coway Airmega ProX?
Thanks for the additional perspective. I though it might be a particular problem with the Coways, because I didn't notice a smell from the Winix 5510, and the smell from from the BlueAir Signature was faint; but I had noticeable issues with both models of Coways I had tried.

Coway Airmega 100 vs Winix C535
75ft by 50ft with a low ceiling. That's a huge room - 3,750 sq. ft. I'm guessing there are missing decimal points. Consumer-grade air purifiers aren't designed to remove lead dust as such. I know you're on a budget so obviously it's better than nothing. But something like a Winix doesn't have airtig

Smart Air Blast Mk II vs. Coway Airmega ProX
Have you considered a few different smaller units instead of one big unit? It’s a large space and normally you get better coverage and flow from multiple units. It would also keep the noise down because you could run them all on the lower setting. Also a good idea, and yes I did consisder that, sinc

Dog and myself have bad allergies. Need advice
the clean air delivery rate of this model is only 200. that’s less than my $100 winix. i have a winix c545 and a coway airmega and i researched for weeks. i would get one for each floor of your house.

Coway Airmega Mighty vs Winix 5500-2 (EU, 62 m², 2 cats, newborn) – which one should I choose?
Winix. It won’t be best odor reduction but you won’t get any with the Coway -1512hh

Low-noise purifier (<30 dB) for 1680 ft^3 bedroom
I have an Alen 75i and on Speed 2 it says its 185 cfm. I cant hear it on that speed. I found it on sale for around same price as Coway Pro X (both on sale for $650 I think) and it has lifetime guarantee if you use their filter. Choice of a lot of carbon and less life in the Fresh filter or regular H
