Airmega 400 for living room confirmation
If this is a half wall extending only part way across a room, you could consider this an open space. If you added the living room and kitchen together, the resulting square footage is 597.2 sq. ft. Divide that by 1.5 for minimum CADRs of 399 CFM (rounding up). The Airmega 400 would be underpowered o

Which one is better for cat owners?
No, one Winix C610 wouldn't be enough. The Winix 5510 would be underpowered too. I would base my choice off of Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs), not Air Changes per Hour (ACH). See the AutoModerator comment about the AHAM 2/3 rule. For an open 500 sq. ft. space, minimum Clean Air Delivery Rates (CAD

Help choosing air purifier
So the bedroom is 3.8 × 3.3 m × 2.4 m = 30.1 m3. Multiplying by 6 for sensitivities, CADR should be 181 CFM. And living room/kitchen area is 7.1 × 4.7 m × 2.7 m =90.1 m3. Again multiplying by 6, CADR should be 541 CFM. For the bedroom, you could choose the Coway Airmega 150. Its top CADR is 281 m3/h

Canada Air purifier guidance
Please provide details to prove what you said. Coway AirMega 400 is about 859 CAD with CADRs of 328 to 400 CFM for various particles. I can buy almost four North Box 5X units and equip them with United Filter MERV 13s for slightly more than the cost of one Coway AirMega 400. The CADR for four units

coway 300 vs. 400 for my needs? [allergies x airport x loft]
Are your asthma triggers particulates (e.g., soot, smoke particles, small dust particles, mold spores, pet dander)? If your ceilings are higher than 8 ft., you need to calculate by volume. 29 ft. × 23 ft. × 14 ft. = 9,338 cubic feet. 9,338 cu. ft. ÷ 8 ft. = 1,167.25 sq. ft. as the "adjusted" purifie

Air purifiers without Coway's green pesticide filters?
I reached out to coway after purchasing our unit and having really bad headache inducing offgassing and even the white filters they make seem to have it. The "true green'" is unrelated to thr coating. It's definitely the worst offgassing I have experienced from a purifier but also I actually ended u

Air purifier for small house with a cat and dogs
See the AutoModerator comment. Unfortunately purifiers aren't good at reducing visible dust or pet hair as both are large and heavy compared to "invisible" pollutants like PM2.5. See our FAQs wiki entries: I need an air purifier for dust. What should I buy? Why is there visible dust despite running

Our second rabbit air purifier is officially up!
A 1,000 sq. ft. space requires minimum CADRs of 667 CFM. A 700 sq. ft. space requires minimum CADRs of 467 CFM. Total min. CADRs would be 1,134 CFM. Again, you'd want to exceed this total min. CADRs value because of higher particulate pollution concentrations. I don't know what PM concentrations pur

Coway Airmega 250 or 350?
Beware of the fact that you need to be in turbo mode to hit the CFM listed and there is a steep drop off from Turbo mode to the other settings. You have to be okay with the noise of turbo mode: https://www.reddit.com/r/AirPurifiers/comments/1l21rga/coway_airmega_400_vs_450_comparison/
