The Coway Airmega 200M is great. Fairly quiet at the lowest two speeds, priced decently including replacement filters, and not a lot of lights. If you want to be extra safe, you can also look up “light dims” and buy some. They are stickers that generally cut 50% of the brightness when you stick them

Per the AHAM 2/3 rule, a 100 sq. ft. office with an 8 ft. ceiling needs minimum CADRs of 67 CFM. If you experience wildfire smoke conditions, the Smoke CADR needs to equal the room's area, so a Smoke CADR of at least 100 CFM. Unfortunately most brands only list CADRs for the highest airflow speed/se

It has an ionizer but you can turn it off. I also have a Levoit Vital 200s, it was under $200 and the filters are about $

I'm also using a Coway Airmega 200m, I'm in a small apartment that has no cooking exhaust, so I keep mine between my kitchen and living room. It has a particulent sensor that works pretty well, when I'm cooking it kicks into high gear which is a bit loud, but it really only does that while I'm cooki

As stated in the original post, the filter doesn't matter that much. Prioritize CADR. Also get something with a bit of carbon as it will help with those toxins. Generally the bigger the CADR = bigger product = more carbon, generally. You should get at least a constant 5 ACH, which would mean your pu
