Cotopaxi Alpa 28L vs Patagonia MLC 30

FWIW, my packing list is very similar to yours, even down to putting an extra daybag inside, and I'd take a basic toploader, but with a fairly specific layout (zippered quick access card pocket somewhere, laptop/hydration sleeve in the back compartment for my tablet, and a panel organizer/zippered p

Cotopaxi Alpa 28L vs Patagonia MLC 30

I have all three of these bags (though an older version of the Cotopaxi Allpa 28). I use the Patagonia most often but have traveled with all three within the last year or so. If you have a chance to try any of them on for comfort, that might be a deciding factor. Do you care about a hip belt? If so,

Lightest and comfiest backpack: Bellroy Lite vs Gossamer Aero Jet?

Do you ever miss not having a waste belt? I was looking at the Cotopaxi Alpa 28 and I really like that it has a waist belt .

Cotopaxi Alpa 28L vs Patagonia MLC 30

I just went through a WHOLE downsizing analysis, including several bags, going from my fabulous MEI Voyageur (40-42L) to something closer to 30L. Cotopaxi Alpa 28L vs Patagonia MLC 30

As someone who worked at Cotopaxi, I really cannot recommend their bags anymore. The straps aren’t comfortable for long-term use. Plus the weight distribution is sooooo off. OH and no load straps (on most models)???? I’m currently backpacking with an Alpa 35 and I’m in pain and I literally under-pac

Cotopaxi Alpa 28L vs Patagonia MLC 30

I am 5' 2" and have the Cotopaxi Allpa 28. I love it. It's very comfortable to carry for me, though usually I'm not on trips where I'm walking with it for more than 30 minutes (ie I've never taken it hiking). If I'm walking with it for more than 10 minutes I usually use the sternum strap, but I neve

Osprey/arcteryx/raven for everyday commute, edc and college?

I just returned a Nebula. I found that the flaps and straps over the zippers were annoying to me. I also prefer a more open main compartment and felt that the different compartments on the Canibalized from the main compartment. I ordered a Cotopaxi alpa 26. I think it will be a good fit for me
