Runners should already check Coros instead of Amazfit
The Coros Pace series build quality isn't great. They're all-plastic watches, normal glass screen. The base Pace 4 also has only a 1.2" screen (same as the Garmin 165, which is also a cheap plastic build). The Active 3 seems to be targeted as Amazfit's entry level running watch has better build qual

Amazfit makes it official Cheetah 2 Pro
For that price, I'd buy a Suunto Race 2 or a Coros Apex 4. Not this thing

What running watch do you use?
Currently on the Coros Apex 4. Great battery life, great screen, all the bells and whistles. I just love it. I switched from Garmin about 8 years ago and haven’t looked back. I use the Coros Dura while biking.

Coros Apex 4 review (after sort of extensive use)
Thanks for the review. I too have the Apex 4 (46mm), and disagree with a few points here. (And for reference, I’m strictly a road runner; run 6-7 days/week, usually 80k/week.) I find the MIP screen very readable, not at all dim. Compared to my previous watch, a Fenix 7 Pro, it’s just as readable—may

Coros Apex 4 so far?
I'm using Apex 4 since February, for me it's perfect watch, but im Coros fan since last 7 years. Transfer from Apple watch will be a huge improvement for you, but please remember that Coros is more sport than smart watch. Very good for running, hiking, cycling but not for reading mails. I love sapph

Nomad Review
The Nomad is essentially an Apex 4 in a bulkier polycarbonate body with a normal glass screen. It's Coros's answer to the Garmin Instinct series, and has a lot more functionality as well (like maps!) that Garmin gates to their higher end devices.

So many negative customer service stories
I’m not sure personally, but I’ve contacted customer support twice and the response time was fast. The process can seem a bit long, but I think they just want to make sure you’ve done all the necessary checks to avoid replacing or repairing the watch unnecessarily. I now have the Apex 4 and I’m happ

Instinct 3 solar HF zones?
Yes, there is a screen dedicated to HR zone that shows what HR zone you are in. Used it for running but ultimately returned it and stuck with coros apex 4. But honestly the instinct was a great watch and might get it in the future.

Need help choosing a running/trail watch: Coros Apex 4, Suunto Vertical 2 / Race 2, or used Fenix 7 Pro
Coros watches offer impressive value for money. The Apex 4 can handle 100km easily. The battery life of the Coros watches is nuts considering their form factor.

I have an Apple Watch and I maybe want to switch to coros. My problem is the build quality.
Got a Coros Pace 2 in Dec 2020, it is plastic and cheap, feels plastic and cheap. But it still worked fine when I used it for a run yesterday. Everything still works. Got an Apex 2 in 2023, titanium bezel and Sapphire glass feels solid and premium, but the charging port failed after about about 1.5
