Help! Which is better, a 3 year old watch or a brand new watch? The Apex 4 is the best watch available from Coros right now.

Coros does a remarkable job of delivering us great products I'd say they do a remarkable job of creating great products... but the delivery of them could use some work. There have been a lot of folks waiting for the Apex 4 and Pace 4 to finally ship.

Currently on the Coros Apex 4. Great battery life, great screen, all the bells and whistles. I just love it. I switched from Garmin about 8 years ago and haven’t looked back. I use the Coros Dura while biking.

I agree with the both of you. I don't think that every release has to be ground breaking or revolutionary. Pardon the pun but the Apex has reached its apex in terms of MIPS hardware design. Other than adding a flashlight and making the watch more premium and with an appealing "cool" factor, the Apex

It seems to me like a lot of complaints are from people looking for the latest and greatest gadget, but that is not what coros is about. The pace pro came out a year ago, of course this isn't going to have any drastic changes. The only thing I can understand being disappointed about is the flashligh

Stick with the Enduro 3. You already own it, and it's one of the best watches out there, especially when it comes to navigation features. Garmin also beats Coros in trail running, hiking, and mountain biking, thanks to features like ClimbPro that Coros still lacks. While some features on the Enduro

I have switched from F955 to Apex 4 for many of the same reason you mentioned. Having no software update after 2-3y with garmin is crazy to me and for their low entry watch cost you can have a mid-high tier with coros. I personally sold everything I own from garmin, this company lost their way. Coro

Thanks for the review. I too have the Apex 4 (46mm), and disagree with a few points here. (And for reference, I’m strictly a road runner; run 6-7 days/week, usually 80k/week.) I find the MIP screen very readable, not at all dim. Compared to my previous watch, a Fenix 7 Pro, it’s just as readable—may
