Which watch should I choose for trail running?

I posted a few months ago asking about changing from Garmin Fenix 5 to Coros Apex 4. Best decision I made.

Amazfit makes it official Cheetah 2 Pro

For that price, I'd buy a Suunto Race 2 or a Coros Apex 4. Not this thing

What running watch do you use?

Currently on the Coros Apex 4. Great battery life, great screen, all the bells and whistles. I just love it. I switched from Garmin about 8 years ago and haven’t looked back. I use the Coros Dura while biking.

Switch from Suunto race 2 to Coros Pace 4 Jakob INGEBRIGTSEN edition?

I've had Suunto Race 2, Suunto Vertical 2, and Coros Apex 4 - unfortunately have not tried Coros' Amoled screens yet. Pace 4 will be MUCH lighter. The Coros app is the most polished of any I've tried (Garmin, Amazfit, Suunto, Coros). You will get better health metrics (more reliable sleep tracking,

Coros Apex 4 so far?

I'm using Apex 4 since February, for me it's perfect watch, but im Coros fan since last 7 years. Transfer from Apple watch will be a huge improvement for you, but please remember that Coros is more sport than smart watch. Very good for running, hiking, cycling but not for reading mails. I love sapph

Do I buy the vertix2s as my first watch or wait?

The Vertix2s is the oldest and least powerful watch in the Coros lineup. And also somehow the most expensive. You probably want to look at the Apex 4, as other folks mentioned.

Runners should already check Coros instead of Amazfit

TRex is also all plastic, thin metal on top is cosmetic only. I didn't mention the T-Rex, but the $1100 Fenix 8 is also steel or titanium sandwiched between a polycarbonate body. 1.2 screen is better than 1.5 screen if they show the same information You can display more information comfortably on a

Need help choosing a running/trail watch: Coros Apex 4, Suunto Vertical 2 / Race 2, or used Fenix 7 Pro

Coros watches offer impressive value for money. The Apex 4 can handle 100km easily. The battery life of the Coros watches is nuts considering their form factor.

The so called "Action button" on the left of the Pace4 is useless/unused for like 99% of the time, does this annoyed anyone else or just me?

The action button seems stupid to me - if you think about watches that had two buttons anyway like the Apex 2 or Vertix line, they already had two buttons - this just moves it for those types of watches (Apex 4) to the other side with less functionality! It should be user programable - Coros should

I have an Apple Watch and I maybe want to switch to coros. My problem is the build quality.

Got a Coros Pace 2 in Dec 2020, it is plastic and cheap, feels plastic and cheap. But it still worked fine when I used it for a run yesterday. Everything still works. Got an Apex 2 in 2023, titanium bezel and Sapphire glass feels solid and premium, but the charging port failed after about about 1.5
