It won't actually be $1, when you actually go to pay it will definitely be $7+. Thanks! Was just on Amazon and saw the COLMI R02 and seemed legit. Qring app seems to write to Apple health easily enough.

I got it from AliExpress (see in the link in my writeup). But I have been trying the Colmi rings recently and they are better. I am adding support for them very soon.

I recently discovered the Colmi rings. I went with R09. I haven’t tried more expensive brands or those with newer tech. But mine seems fairly accurate for sleep. I’m happy and see no reason to upgrade for now. But if I do, it’s likely to be a Ringconn.

I went back to my Colmi R02.at this point I'd like to see if Colmi makes a new generation. Id move to Ceramic.

I've been using it for a while with my Garmin watch and a Colmi ring. Working great, cannot ask anything else. I just have some connection issues from time to time with my watch, but I blame Garmin for that one.
