Help Dialing in Casabrews 5418 Pro

My Casabrew Ultra can have a wet puck too. As long as it's not a big puddle of water, I wouldn't worry about it. Casabrews don't have that fancy solenoid to suck back the excess water at the end of the shot, so, yeah, the puck tends to look kind of muddy. Focus more on the taste of the espresso than

Want to treat myself to something nicer for Christmas [$150]

Calm down, no need for the aggressive and judgemental response. A simple, "those hand grinders are at a higher price" is sufficient if you want clarification on my thoughts. I didn't want to write an essay and haven't super paid attention to the price of the Comandante so that was my bad recommendin

When is it Worth Buying an Espresso Machine - Ever?

Who said Casabrews are not recommended? Do the research on YouTube and make your own decision. I own the Casabrews Ultra and my family does lattes daily. I don’t need another espresso machine unless it’s for my own personal preference. Before I bought this one I looked at other entry level machines

Espresso machine recommendation [$800]

Grinder is doing most of the heavy lifting for espresso, the machine way less so. With your budget you can push the grinder higher and not worry too much on the machine side. A simple and sturdy machine that doesn't get in the way is enough. For me Casabrews Ultra is an easy partner. Basic 58 mm set

Wanted alternatives to Breville barista express.

I have the Casabrews ULTRA and it’s been awesome. Pulls solid shots, steam wand’s great for lattes, and it looks clean on the counter. It’s also way more budget-friendly, so I had money left for a grinder and some accessories. For a first espresso machine, I feel like ULTRA gives you the control wit

Best setup for a coffee noob with [~$1000] to spend

I was in the same situation and ended up going with the Casabrews Ultra. I've been using it for a few years now, and I haven’t run into any quality issues. It has a great temperature control system and a powerful steam wand, making it perfect for both espresso and milk-based drinks. It’s user-friend

Advise for broke college student [$150]

If you want the electric route, Check out casabrews smaller machines. There are reviews on youtube for them on an ultra-low budget that they can get by. As long as you are using good beans and a decent grinder thats fine. Something manual like a Kingrinder is definitely where I would go as well. 1zp

I need answers

Of course not. But you can get a Casabrew for $118 and a Z ultra for $199 and save a ton of money while making very good espresso shots.
