New portafilter vs. machine upgrade [USD 300]

This machine looks like the white-label/chinese stuff you'll see sold as Casabrews in the US, Oster in LATAM and other markets. If that's the case, it's not necessarily bad but you can certainly get better machines like a Delonghi Dedica or a Breville Bambino for 300 USD. The question is, if you're

Sometimes a better machine is the answer!

You realllllllly think that all those machines that cost 1500+ are just as good as your little casabrews or delonghi? It's not about justifying the purchase, THOSE MACHINES ARE ACTUALLY BETTER! The temp is more consistent, the pump works better and for longer, the whole experience is better, more in

Best option under [$100]

I would prefer Stilosa to Casabrews. DeLonghi is a much more mainstream brand, so on-line advice and aftermarket accessories will be easier to obtain. Once you get a grinder, you can modify either machine to brew non-pressurized which will take your espresso to the next level. Check out Lance Hedric

Any Cons about using cheap/beginner machine with premium top tier grinder?

I tried a manual grinder with my casabrews as my intro to espresso in March. By May I was buying a Eureka Mignon Zero. Today I’m waiting for someone to pick up my casabrews for $75 bc my Lucca Tempo that arrived Thursday and changed my world.

Is this a good espresso machine? [$200cad]

Honestly never heard of Casabrews but for $200 CAD you're gonna be in entry-level territory anyway. Might wanna check out the Delonghi Dedica or save up a bit more for a Gaggia Classic if you're serious about espresso - those have way better community support and mod potential

Amazon Basics Flat Burr

I’m glad you’re standing firm on the “Listen is it at least good enough in comparison to my hand grinder or is it a waste of my money comepletely?” I have no idea what the answer is but I’d also love to know I have friends that wanna do espresso but feel priced out and one of my closest friends actu

Any good? [$119] Neretva Espresso Machine 20 Bar, Super Compact Espresso Maker

My sister has the Casabrews and it makes alright espresso once you start dialing it in with a proper grinder. For a basic setup it makes passable espresso if you're on a budget but compared to other machines I've used, it doesn't have nearly the same level of smoothness and taste. But when they come

<$300 Espresso Setup - What is possible is crazy.

Lots of good questions and no problem, I’m happy to try and help. I’d highly suggest watching some Lance Hedrick on YouTube to get a baseline. You really are close to making coffee that blows your mind. As for the portafilter, I think I made one test shot with the portafilter that came with the mach

If JH visited your house and saw you making coffee....

All of it. Old beans, Baratza grinder that I inherited from my dad that I’m sure has never been cleaned, using said Baratza for espresso, using a $100 casabrews espresso machine that has a pressurized portafilter so the use of the Baratza doesn’t matter.

Newbie with a Casabrew 3700

I don't know what to do. This feels like trolling, but i know its just an innocent question. If americano is your goal, pour over would have been the better an cheaper alternative. grinders for filter coffee are much cheaper. Also i don't lnow what a casabrew is and i don't want to learn. you should
