Is it possible to choose the perfect camera?

So today I have been struggling to think about something else than what camera should I buy. Because I came to a point of complete confusion about the issue. I have a camera and it is a Canon EOS RP, it has been a good friend for almost 3 years and I have taken it on many trips. However, time passed

Incoming Storm on September 20th, 2024

Captured with a Canon EOS RP + Sigma 28mm F/1.4 ART in NE Wichita. Panorama created with 5 panels, each using 5 stacked shots for noise reduction. I saw this one coming and ran outside to catch it. Looks like it may have surprised the Air Force as well as in a few other shots I captured 3 Tankers qu

Learning bracketing

I have a canon eos rp. I’m trying to learning bracketing. I have it set to 5 shots 2 stops apart. Aperture Priority, AF, ISO 100. JPG. I feel like I’m doing something wrong. The 5 pictures look exactly the same. I’ve been learning focus stacking them in Affinity photo. What the heck am I doing wrong

Is a Canon 6D Mark 2 worth it in 2025?

It’s good to have a full frame so you can build your lens collection. Bodies will change but lenses really last. I would highly recommend an original EOS-R over the 6d mark ii. Starts around £670 on UK eBay, and far more capable, beautiful 30mp sensor and mirrorless. You can probably get it even che

Outfielders

How are we getting good shots of the outfielders if I'm by home plate?

Are there adjustments in Lightroom that I can do to make it better? When I crop and zoom, the images aren't to the quality that I would like. Would a better body (Canon R6Mii) do better?

I have a Canon EOS RP but looking to up

I have a blog on Wordpress and I also like to send pictures through WhatsApp to my family after a day of shooting with them but it's really tiring to have to go on my computer, and then make pictures lighters with common compr

Why do my photos in higher shutter speed get darker on the bottom?

I have the Canon EOS RP and just started noticing this: when I use full manual lenses (in this case Super-Takumar 135 mm f/2.5 for testing and confirm my suspicion), the faster the shutter speed, the bottom part of the image gets darker. I shot the test in portrait, 90 deg counterclockwise, so the d

What are the best settings to take a picture with a Canon EOS RP with a 50mm RF lenses?

I have tried several settings but I am unable to get any decent pictures of the Milky Way... actually I haven't been able to get a single picture. This camera is a full-frame camera, most advice I find out there in the internet is around crop-sensor cameras, so I think settings for a full-frame may
