Canon user to Lumix S9
I just bought an S9 to supplement my Canon R7, and while I haven’t done much testing yet I can say the ergonomics are awful (as you’d expect), the build quality lacking (especially the buttons and dials), and the thing isn’t that compact or light (feels like a brick), the autofocus is worse (though

Canon EOS R50 V review
To me, the lack of IBIS makes this camera DOA. As much as I love Canon colors, I think a Lumix S9 or a Sony A6700 offers way better value for just a little more money. Sony is slowly improving the ergonomics of its cameras, but it’s still not enough | I own and use Sony cameras all the time, but I’m perpetually blown away by how much nicer it is to hold a Canon or Nikon
I am a Canon shooter and I’ve found that even the newer “full size” bodies like the R7/6/5 are smaller than my preference. The “pro-size” bodies like the R3 and R1 feel amazing to me but are just too bulky for an everyday multipurpose camera. I’ve shot 5Ds for decades and still prefer the chunkier g
