Pictures taken with canon eos r7 and 7 artisans 7.5. They are a bit out of focus because the lense is manual and the cat didn’t stop moving

Does every birder eventually say "I need a better camera!"?
I’m using the Sigma 150-600 f5-6.3 contemporary. I think this is the same lens as yours. It works very, very well with my R5mkII. The reason for this is the faster sensor readout speed on the newer Canon R-series cameras. The only cams I can confirm this lens works well on are: R5mkII R6mkIII The ma

Is Nikon Z50 II better than Canon R50 bundle for a beginner?
Z50ii is on the same level as a Canon R10 or R7. The R50 is a cut down R10. I own an R10 but favor Nikon for full frame. I got the R10 because it was cheap (at the time, no longer) and small, but has poor battery life. The image quality of the R10 is ho-hum. I bought the 10-18mm lens and it's underw

Any camera recs for beginners?
Starting with question 2: Sigma's 18-50 f/2.8 is an amazing lens, I'd describe it as one of the best value options for any lens. I'd say that all of these are pretty easy to use, the a6400 maybe is a bit behind, it has a new autofocus generation that ended up being a revolution, but it's also a bit

Photographs have gone soft (help please!)
Hello all,
I'm wondering if anyone could help me identify what might have happened to my camera in just a week.
I have been using a Canon EOS R7 with a converter to use the Sigma C 150-600, and in the past 14 days or so I have gone from taking photos like 1 and 2, to photos like 3 and 4. The focus

Sigma 17-40 f/1.8 for Canon R7?
The lens I think is the best comparison is the Tamron 28-75, which is 25% cheaper, and has 10mm more on the long end. OP could buy the Nikon Z5ii or Sony a7iii, both with the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 G2, and still come out with a bit of money on top, as opposed to buying the R7 and 17-40. The Sigma is the

What are you using to film your videos? Smartphone or DSLR?
Thank you so much for your informative response! I'm surprised to hear that your Canon R7 performs worse at low-light than your iPhone. I say that only because the R7 was released not too long ago, and I would think it could outperform even a newer iPhone. That's not a knock on iPhones, of course; I

How do I disable video subject tracking but keep autofocus enabled?
Another update just in case; I am starting to think it's not even tracking anymore, but rather the image stabilization of the R7. This begs the question, why does it work against itself? The lens I use is an 18-150mm STM from Canon, so it should be fully compatible, and in normal situations it also

Please help, Canon EOS R7 Convert Issue
Hi, I’m testing with the Canon EOS R7 with a 3.9mm dual fisheye lens, but I’ve encountered an issue. Even after converting the footage shot with the camera using the EOS VR Utility, it doesn’t appear in 3D on the Vision Pro. Instead, I see two separate screens for the left and right lenses.

Warranty ? Broken lens “lip”
Bought this kit from Amazon on May 15, 2024 Canon EOS R7 RF-S18-150mm...
On a trip I Noticed that the lens doesn’t hold on to the camera body anymore because the cheap plastic lip of that lens is chipped. (Note the parts of the 400mm lens I bought separately are made of steel).
