Second Camera Body

I just upgraded one of my R6 to a R6iii. It definitely is nice, but you'd have to buy some CFexpress cards and the new camera hates batteries that aren't the newest model of LP6. It gives warnings every time you turn on the camera with other real Canon batteries and won't turn on with 3rd party ones

Impact of rumoured Canon R6iii for us Lumix Users

That's it. I would still have messed up the lighting in an interview yesterday, because of factors I could not control at the moment, plus the stress and the lack of resources. A camera with a 32mpix sensor would have made zero difference in the final image. R6III must be a welcomed upgrade for the

FX3 or R6V

I stay away from canon because of the locked down RF lens ecosystem. Sony gets all of the third party lenses and accessories first because they have the largest market share that allows third party lenses. Also canon typically doesn’t have great dynamic range. The R6iii tests done by CineD were lowe

What made you switch to OM for Macro?

I have the MPE 65 and the RF100mm. I found canon severely lacking for macro, oqning the R6iii, which cannot focus bracket with a flash. Studio shots sure, but in the field with active subjects? Forget it. Nail a single shot maybe. What are your thoughts on the 30mm? Its an extremely small working di

Lumix S1II vs. Canon R6 III

The worst part about the R6III is the mount that it is attached to. I shoot canon at work and I love it, but I'm not spending my own money on the lenses. Not having access to the Sigma lineup is a huge negative in my opinion, not to mention all the other lenses that just straight up don't exist on r

A7V released - 33MP partially stacked, 7.5 stop IBIS, new processor, $2900 USD - available for preorder

Like everyone else I've been waiting for this camera. From a photography side it's amazing, but from a video side it's disappointing. Most of the competition is giving higher resolution 12bit video while sony limits it to 4k 10bit. So many people repeat the same no one uses 6k 12bit and even if they

OM System clearly has the corner on the insect macro market. How likely do you think Canon is to release a competitive autofocus macro lens that can be used with auto-focus bracketing like the OM system? I'm currently using a R5MKII with the manual focus 65 MP-E and manually moving the lens

Given how slow they have been to rev bodies, and didn't bother to include this in the R6III even, I wouldn't hold my breath. You still are getting more, larger pixels on your subject with your current system; but, if you really want/need the convenience, I would not hold my breath waiting for Canon

Canon r6iii

the best sports bargain in all brands is a used a9, i'd suggest finding one... set your a9 up for back-button af. one of the big problems with the a7iii is no sony real-time tracking subject selection, and of course slow sensor readout speed, so electronic shutter isn't much of an option: https://ww
