Should I get this as a beginner?
Nop, a bunch of e-waste. For 500$ you can get 70D and a tamron sp 35mm 1.8, this will enable good results and lots of learning potential right away. Also take a look at nikon d5200, plus the same lens. Canon aps-c DSLRs have times better UI/UX than nikons, but nikon ones have better sensors starting

Canon EOS R50 not being found.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to have Cachy display my camera in the file manager. I plug it into my USB C cable and I get the notification that it’s detected, but I am unable to see it in the file manager. This was not an issue with Bazzite and unless I can get this issue sorted, I’ll

Dude. A T7 kit new costs $530. You really think someone's going to go out and get an $850 R50? And the Canon USA refurb deal on the R50 kit doesn't show up nearly as often as the R100 one does. Also, the R50 has a denuded flash hotshoe that requires an AD-E1 adapter to use most flash gear and that c

Melyik kamerát ajánljátok ezek közül?
Én kezdésnek mindenképpen a használt piacon néznék körbe (Hardverapro, Facebook csoportok) miután kiválasztottad mi lesz. Fontos, hogy vedd kézbe a kiválasztott kamerát vásárlás előtt mindenképpen. Hiába meggyőző papíron az adott modell, ha nem áll a kezedre, nem fogod szeretni, nyűg lesz, és végül

Canon EOS R50 - HDR PQ conversion LUT
I've been filming with the R50 in HDR PQ mode, and I'm finding it a bit tedious to always manually try to convert to Rec.709.
Does anyone have a conversion LUT or know where I can get one for this camera?
Thanks in advance!

Complete beginner trying to choose between the Canon EOS R50, R10, and R8. Which one would be the best long-term investment for me?
Take a look at this: https://www.kenrockwell.com/canon/eos-r/compared/r7-r10-r50-r100-compared.htm Don't think of the camera body as a long term investment. Think of it as a computer. You use it for a few years. When it becomes obsolete or breaks, you sell or give away this one and buy a better one.

Beginner looking for camera recs (simple, portable, $2.5k budget)
Just asking: Do you you think you can cleanly separate your bird lens and travel lens use? Because I can't and swapping lenses is a PITA. On a hike, I might take photos of landscape/people/whatever and the next second, a bird shows up. So either you need a lens that can handle both (these exist, mor

Is it really necessary to edit your photos in RAW format to achieve a 'professional' look?
Hello everyone. I'm starting to lose patience… I’d like to get into amateur photography. I have a Galaxy Z Flip 6 with a stylus and a large screen, which would make it easy to edit and share my photos directly from the phone. I also bought a Canon EOS R50, which I think is a great compact travel cam
