Matching the R5C to the FX3 will cost you significantly more post time than the FS7 option. I think IBIS is very important for stills. I would not want to lose out on it. Now that Canon has updated the firmware on the R5 to eliminate the overheating, a big drive for the R5C is gone, so I would not consider it a significant upgrade over the R5

Ah, OK. Unfortunately until recently all VR180 videos are too fuzzy looking. All VR180 cameras don't have enough resolution to produce sharp enough footage. Even output from Canon R5/R5C cameras with 5.2mm dual fisheye lens looks softer than a 2D output from any cheapo phone. Only recent BlackMagic

It is frustrating. But I imagine it is not an oversight. I imagine it's a misguided ploy to sell their (c) suffix mirror less cameras, the r5C etc. They are the only ones (I think) that allow shutter angle as opposed to shutter speed. In the canon line (obviously their cinema cameras do).
