What designer\luxury brand item your "I get it now" item.
I recently picked up a Briggs and Riley backpack for work. The quality compared to what I've had before, like fashion brands and standard corporate issue Targus, is amazing. The way it flattens down, many useful pockets, the zips feel well manufactured and good quality fabrics. I got it on vinted fo

What’s customary for associates to use as a bag?
Oh and sorry, in case you wanted a suggestion - mine is a decade old so they don't make my particular model anymore, but, don't think current ones are much different. I have a Briggs and Riley backpack. I have a Tumi bag too, and, another common brand I see - I think they change the styles every onc

Which brand of luggage.
I have nothing but Briggs & Riley. Durable, roomy, incredible warranty. My original B&R bag has over 3 million miles on it. I don't imagine I will ever need to buy more luggage, but if I do, it will be Briggs & Riley.

Bags these days..
As a person who LOVES to start a new adventure with a new bag, I fully support this quest of yours. My favorite college/work backpack (I am an MA and bring school stuff to work for slow times) is a frame top zip backpack. I bought a Briggs and Riley version that I cherish, but I've since bought anot

TUMI Apha Bravo - Navigation vs Search backpack
Thank you! I’ve been using the Briggs & Riley large at work backpack - they weren’t kidding when they said large! Do you have any idea how a search compares to that? I was thinking of something maybe a hair smaller as it’s for daily use

Underseat rolling laptop case for pro photographer.
Check out the Briggs and Riley rolling briefcases. I think the larger size will fit the 16” and it also has room for a camera. I did a lot of digging to find an underseater for a 15” mac laptop a while ago. There’s not much that fits under the seat that holds a laptop, much less a larger one. If the

LuggageWorks is garbage.
I'll agree that they aren't what they used to be. I bought my first 21" aluminum-frame Stealth from Purdy Neat Things back in 1993 and after a couple trips through the refurb process sold it a few years ago to a young airline guy. I could do about 85% of the repairs on it myself and only had to send

Briggs & Riley vs. Nomatic
I have both, I have used the nomatic for the last five years, but just made the move to Briggs and Riley. Fantastic backpack and as much as I love my nomatic, I am really enjoying the Briggs as much or more because of all the compartments. I do miss the chest strap on the nomadic, they both have a l

Backpack recommendation
Briggs & Riley medium widemouth. Fits my 16” laptop with plenty of extra room. Very solid build. B&R also makes the other backpacks, but I’m not what laptop size they fit. Well built, quality backpack.
