New Barista Pro Grinder Slipping

Welcome to the club, happens frequently to my Oracle Touch even after switching beans and thorough cleaning. Sent mine back a few times and their service is super but they just clean it and send it back, just for the same thing to occur. IMO a Breville known deficiency in the units.

Dual Boiler - Not a Buy For Life Machine

Wow what? I’ve been considering getting the oracle touch, jet or dual boiler, for a while but this thread literally just ended any desire to get a Breville/Sage machine. Not servicing more than twice is insane.

What are your experiences with longevity with higher end Oracle machines?

Have a 6 year old Oracle Touch that started to pop our GFCI outlet, likely due to leak. Replaced the orings and steam probes, which did not fix the issue. Seems to be a problem with the steam broiler. Loved the machine so much we replaced it with an Oracle Jet....little bit of a side grade IMO, but

Breville Oracle Jet

My Oracle Touch just finally encountered a problem I can't fix...(or more accurately, don't want to attempt)... So I'm back in the market. Part of me wants to avoid Breville. Was this thing everything I expected for a $3,000 machine? I was able to increase it's life by probably 2 years. Just not sur

Breville Oracle Jet

On the fence too. My Oracle Touch is having issues with the leaky boiler and O ring, tamping and dosing very erratic after having it for 7 years. Need another machine but will not get the touch again. Am looking at the Jet as well because many parts from the touch will fit the Jet but am very hesita

People still enjoying their Oracle Jets?

Not the Oracle Jet, but it's big brother, the Breville Oracle Touch... I bought it last November from a major store chain, replacing a Breville that ran for 10 years before dying. I did not like it from about Day 1. I was used to a machine you switch on, and it good to go within seconds. The Oracle

My $500 “starter” Breville Barista Express espresso machine cost me $20,000

Happy for you, bought the Oracle touch in 2020, I had to send twice for repair on warranty, then I spent 500$ last year on a local shop to repair it, again (the most incredible thing is that i got completely stuck because I tried to descale it, and air bubbles got in, stayed in the hose and I could

After 18 years of Brevilles that break every 4 years, I got my 50th birthday setup (to myself, ahem) finally in place!

Nice! With all that walnut bling I'm slightly surprised you didn't get the grinder in the white with walnut finish. I just tool a similar journey away from multiple broken Breville (Oracle Touches) to a Profitec Ride and Atom W65 grinder. Do the doors clear the tamping mat?

The Brevilles are a consumer grade product with a lot of features. I went through quite a process with them on an Oracle Touch that went in for service like 4 times, was replaced, then the replacement went in and as that started to shit the bed a few months back I'd finally had enough, it was out of

BDB died... replaced with a... BDB

That white color is awesome! I got my Oracle Touch in matte black, also looks really nice, but if they had white I‘d have taken that. (But I guess after the failing boiler sensors that broke my machine after 1 1/2 years and it being an unavoidable problem that will eventually kill every machine I‘m
