Tell me the best story you have about buying something for your kitchen
I don't have a great story, but a year and a half ago, my husband bought a Breville Barista Touch Impress espresso machine during Black Friday. I thought it was a waste of $800. Damn if I don't use that thing every single day.

Which Breville to Buy? [$800 Budget]
A general rule of thumb is that grind quality is more important than the espresso machine. I owned the Breville Barista Touch for about 6 months before I upgraded because of this fact. The machine was great EXCEPT for the grinder. All Breville machines use a CONICAL grinder, which is so-so. A much b

Oracle Jet or Barista Touch Impress
The price difference between the Breville Barista Touch Impress and the Breville Oracle Jet is pretty hard to overlook. The Touch Impress usually sells for around $1,500, while the Oracle Jet tends to land in the $2,800–$3,000 range. That’s roughly a $1,300–$1,500 jump, and for most home users the u

It’s the “breville barista touch”. I think they run like 800ish now but I paid 1100 4-5 years ago. It’s mindless to use compared to the ones where you have to manually pull the shot. Worth every penny at 5 in the morning when we wake up. We upgraded from a dogshit $150 machine and it’s night and day

I did the math so you don’t have to: Breville ROI = 60-80 pulls
Wow I got my Breville barista touch for $1k 3-4 years ago, the grinder sucks but it makes great espresso! You def need a bottomless portafilter, I’d say get a 22-24G basket, WDT or shaker, scale and a calibrated tamper. Buy some good brand names specialty beans and you’ll be having great espresso, l

Is a semi automatic machine the right choice for me? [Budget € 1000 - 2500]
I am in the same boat and I am almost ready to switch from Z10 to Breville (Sage) Barista Touch Impress - the only thing is that I would really love to compare the machines side by side.

What add-on/modification has been most worthwhile for you?
Breville Barista Touch Impress here: Best upgrade for me was IMS basket and bottomless portafilter. I went with the IMS Big Bang & IMS precision baskets. The Big Bang basket is my daily driver.I did see a slight difference upgrading to the IMS precision nanotech shower screen. But IMO, the baskets w

Is a moka pot your only coffee brewer?
I have a breville barista touch and a bambino plus ($1000 and $500). I only ever use my 3 cup bialetti ($30) and the milk frother of one of the machines. the barista touch has a grinder, frother and touch screen and you can adjust the grind size, timing of brew, customize certain settings for differ

Is the Pro worth almost 2x?
I had an issue with 2 of my ninja luxe pro’s:/ we then ended up spending the extra $250 when the breville barista touch went on sale from $1500 down to $999 and couldn’t be happier.

Larger Quantity Espresso on Budget [$300]
If you want rapid heating espresso machine on which you can push a button and it delivers an excellent latte without much user intervention AND you want back to back shots... I'm afraid to say I don't think your budget is anywhere near enough. A Sage/Breville Barista Touch will grind beans, get you
