Coffee Machine recs
hi! I am not sure if your Mom is the type that just wants a cup of brewed coffee, or, likes espresso. I like the option to pull espresso shots and steam milk with the same machine, and make lattes/cappuccino at home. I waited awhile to get one I thought was perfect - and truly have found my own cup

How much of an upgrade is a Profitec Go or Rancilio Silvia over a Bambino? Other best options in this price range? [$1200]
I have been using a Breville Barista Touch for about a year and a half. I just found a good deal on a used Profitec Go so I decided to upgrade. Night and day difference for me. And folks say the grinder matters most, but I’m still using the built in grinder from the Touch until my new grinder ships

Financial independence starts with small wins, here’s how a coffee machine accidentally changed my spending
I also have 2 coffees a day. I have a Breville bean to cup machine that I purchased in 2017. I buy a 1 kg bag of beans for $18 (used to be $11 for years) and it lasts me about 2 months. With the Barista touch you aren't sacrificing quality by making it at home. Most of the time my coffees are better

New setup recommendations? All in for [$1500-$220]
I quickly moved to an external grinder for consistency and I would say my Breville barista touch produces phenomenal espresso due to the switch to an external grinder and slow feeder. Wonderful consistent and syrupy shots daily.

Coffee machines for home - which is the best and why?
I have a Breville Barista Touch, which seems to have all the checkmarks for what your partner is looking for. I really like it, though it definitely depends on which beans I’m using, too, and I do feel that it works best (tastes best) with darker roasted beans. If you’re still looking, check out the

Which Breville to Buy? [$800 Budget]
A general rule of thumb is that grind quality is more important than the espresso machine. I owned the Breville Barista Touch for about 6 months before I upgraded because of this fact. The machine was great EXCEPT for the grinder. All Breville machines use a CONICAL grinder, which is so-so. A much b

Finally got my LM
I’m new… I see this brand being presented all the time, why do people love this model so much? My introduction to this Kraft has been my Breville barista touch and I love it but I see this posted so much. I have to ask what is the fascination and what are the extra benefits?

Oracle Jet or Barista Touch Impress
The price difference between the Breville Barista Touch Impress and the Breville Oracle Jet is pretty hard to overlook. The Touch Impress usually sells for around $1,500, while the Oracle Jet tends to land in the $2,800–$3,000 range. That’s roughly a $1,300–$1,500 jump, and for most home users the u

Which Breville to Buy? [$800 Budget]
I had the Breville Barista Touch for three years up until a year ago and it was a great machine. The grinder is a bit inconsistent in dose which made it hard to get consistent shots. Primary issue for me was that the “grind by time” doesn’t yield the same amount from shot to shot and I had to weigh

Want to buy my first espresso machine. [~350 max]
My Breville barista touch is my first one and I can’t even imagine buying a coffee from specialty coffee shop. Breville Bambino plus or Banbino is a great entry point. Buy one lightly used on eBay and don’t be afraid to start with the built in grinder. You will eventually upgrade and that’s okay.
