New KF8 showed up covered in coffee grounds...

I went down this rabbit trail last month. After browsing this sub, I learned that it’s the grinder, not the espresso machine, that makes good espresso. I got the Breville Bambino Plus (on sale right now for $400) + a Eureka Libra 65 AP ($750). In terms of automatic, it depends how you define that. M

Next machine buying advice - Meraki vs. individual solutions [$2k ish]

My Experience with the Meraki Espresso Machine I received my Meraki about two weeks ago, just three weeks after buying a Breville Barista Touch Impress. Before that, I had been using a DeLonghi super-automatic for seven years. Moving to a semi-automatic machine seemed like a great way to elevate my

Is it worth upgrading from Barista Express to Barista Touch Impress?

I prefer to do my own puck prep, dosing, dialing in, etc so I don’t see the impress version as being an upgrade especially if you’re already able to do those things. I do like the user interface of the regular touch but with some minor differences, the espresso machine side for intents and purposes

Which model of Breville coffee machine would you recommend? I want it to grind coffee and have a milk frother.

I have a Breville Barista Touch Impress. The grinder is not great. If you don't use a dark roast it will jam up and not grind. You'll just hear the clutch slipping and it will mess with the auto measuring amount causing you to overfill the basket. Even at an inner setting of 7 and outer at 30 it wil

Barista Touch Impress - No espresso flow

I'm having the same issue. My machine is about two weeks old. I've had a Breville touch before and upgraded to the touch impress. It doesn't matter what the grind size is, I get drops on the first pulled shot. But if I press it again after the first time it comes out. Espresso tastes terrible though

Perfect Espresso Shot? Watch This Crema☕😍

I'm envious. I find it nearly impossible to get the same results on my new touch impress, with a bottomless poured a filter or the standard Breville Porta filter, using a variety of grind settings; I rarely get this. I only pull a full shot if I'm grinding at 20 or higher. If I try grinding around 1

Need Help! Sticking Puck (Touch Impress)

Idk about the Touch Impress, but on my Breville Bambino it doesn’t have the 3-way solenoid valve to relieve pressure in the portafilter after a shot, so the puck is kind of wet if the portafilter is removed immediately, so it will often stick to the shower screen. To solve this, I just leave the por

Sage Barista Touch Impress – Water volume issue

Same issue here with my brand new Breville Barista Touch Impress (US model). It does look like the firmware is not agreeing with the hardware. I wonder what will happen after the firmware is fixed. Will they replace the machine under warranty?

Barista Touch Impress Update?

Kind of older thread, but I JUST bought a barista touch impress last week with the sole intention of having the cold brew options and I don’t have it. The box even shows it on there but I don’t have any of the options. B1.9 is the firmware but I don’t understand how it can be advertised and not be o
